Give 20|20Give 20|20 actually began in the final weeks of 2011 with a special emphasis called The Great Give-Away—an initiative to give away 20% off all offerings to ministry beyond our campus. One dollar out of every five given between Thanksgiving and the end of the year was designated for benevolence, missions and special projects. The end result was over $250,000 in designated gifts. It was a memorable, meaningful way to finish 2011 and begin 2012. Through Give 20|20 we will be challenged throughout the year to give generously and with joy, because “God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Cor. 9:7). Pray 20|20The new year at Calvary began with a prayer initiative called Pray 20|20. Members of the Calvary family are praying every hour of every day for the entire year. Hundreds have already volunteered to invest one hour per week in prayer at a designated time. Each week has 168 hourly time slots, and each one has been filled by individuals who agree to pray at that exact time. Detailed instructions and inspiring materials are provided to every participant.
